Tribute painting, PFC Diego F. Rincon. July, 2003.

Mouth and Foot Painting Artists [Member] Dennis A. Francesconi pays tribute to PFC Diego F. Rincon by creating two special pieces. One for Mr. & Mrs. Rincon, and the other for PFC Rincon’s girlfriend Catherine Montemayor. This special artwork includes PFC Rincon’s military identification upon the “ID tags” within the paintings.

* PFC. Diego F. Rincon of Conyers, was one of four soldiers killed on March 29th in Iraq by a suicide bomber posing as a taxi driver at a checkpoint near Najaf.

Vice President Gore addressed a crowd of artists and guests at the conference’s opening reception before taking time to meet each of the 56 visiting artists.
